The first step before installing a solar system is to get an electricity audit and usage report. It is critical because of two reasons:

1) To determine whether there is any chance of reducing your load

2) To determine your peak usage and time-of-day usage. This is critical and cannot just be determined by looking at your electricity bill.

Load reduction (getting solar ready)

The second step is to identify which devices/appliances are using the bulk of your electricity. This step is critical - it will enable you to pay less for a solar system because the system can then be smaller (if the load is reduced).

We don't believe in installing a big system just to waste electricity.
